A job post is one of the clearest signals of what a business needs today. When a company posts five, ten or twenty jobs in a month, it may be opening a new location, adding a shift or replacing staff who left.
To see the market as it is, Enfue collected public job posts from seven job sites in Vietnam for 30 days, from 16 September to 15 October 2026. The sites were vieclam24h, VietnamWorks, CareerViet, hoteljob.vn, TopCV, TopDev and ITviec.
In total, we found 29,508 job posts from 10,615 companies. We set aside large brands, such as national groups, banks, multinationals and international hotel chains. That left 9,879 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which most of the findings below describe.
Here is what the data shows, and what it means if you hire for your business.
Most SMEs posted only one job in the 30 days (62%). But about 1 in 11 SMEs, 868 companies, posted five or more jobs. Together, they made 39% of all SME job posts.
If your company posts several jobs a month, you are part of this small group. For you, how quickly you handle applicants matters as much as the job ads themselves.
Among SMEs with five or more posts, hotels and resorts are the largest group: 190 of 868 (22%). Tech and software (102) and manufacturing (100) come next.
The overall picture is different. Manufacturing has the most SMEs hiring (1,546), but most of them posted only one or two jobs. Hotels and resorts have the most companies hiring many people at once. One reason is that hoteljob.vn, one of the seven sites, lists only hospitality jobs.
We sorted 1,079 example job titles from hotels and restaurants into job groups. Kitchen jobs (cooks and chefs) were the most common, followed by front desk staff and housekeeping. These front-line roles match the shortages reported by the industry itself.
The top 5 tech roles in our data were:
A separate national survey by TopCV found that AI engineers are also the hardest tech role to fill. Expect strong competition for them.
Hồ Chí Minh City (4,412 SMEs) and Hà Nội (3,086) have by far the most SMEs posting jobs. But in resort areas, a much larger share of employers is hiring many people at once:
Our job-post data covers only 30 days, so we also looked at recent national research.
Q4 looks busy. In ManpowerGroup’s latest survey of 285 employers in Vietnam, 52% plan to add staff in the last quarter of 2026. Companies with 50 to 249 employees are the most positive (VietnamPlus). Year-end and Tết also bring a seasonal peak for shops, restaurants and hotels.
Hotels find it hard to recruit. In a 2026 Hoteljob.vn survey of 331 tourism and hotel businesses, 77% said recruiting is difficult (Đại Đoàn Kết).
AI will change tasks more than it removes jobs. The International Labour Organization estimates that 20.8% of jobs in Vietnam have tasks that generative AI could affect. It expects most of these jobs to change, not disappear (ILO). Office work is the most exposed. Hands-on work in hotels and restaurants is much less exposed.
AI is already part of hiring. In ITviec’s 2025 survey, 50.8% of companies in Vietnam already use AI in HR work. Screening and shortlisting candidates is the most common use (ITviec).
These are practical recommendations, not findings from the data. You can use all of them with or without special software.
Where Enfue fits: Enfue gives SMEs one candidate pipeline for all channels, AI screening that ranks CVs against each job, interview scheduling and onboarding, in one tool.
We collected public job posts from seven Vietnamese job sites every day for 30 days (16 September to 15 October 2026) and grouped them by company. A job post is one ad on one site, so the same job on two sites counts twice. We excluded large brands, recruitment agencies and anonymous posters. Industries and job groups are estimated from company names, job titles and company descriptions. Hospitality is over-represented because one of the sites lists only hospitality jobs. No individual company is named in the report.
